Jimmy and Robert Tour Details!

So far, it looks like it will work something like this:

I mail the package to Neal, who mails it to Dave and so forth, each taking pictures along the way, and signing the back with a name, date, and location. If you wait to seal the box until you get to the post office, they will postmark the back of Jimmy and Robert for you!

In the end, we will ship them to the boys (if they dont sue me first).

We will accept digital images, scanned images, and for those who did not have an digital camera or scanner, you can send me your pix, and I will scan them and return them.

The mailing cost is $7.70 in the US (priorty mail). Parcel Post is only 20 cents less, so does not make much sense to go that route.

I know that some will not want a potential stranger to mail them, so we can either arrange the routing to be from someone your comfortable with, or in the event you are really parinoid, I can have Jimmy and Robert shipped back to me, and I can forward them to you (everyone trusts ol ZeppinHood - except the trolls and the folks at alt.music.jethro-tull).

We are asking everyone to try to "Give some Quarter", ie: Make a small donation to either the Red-Cross or the ACB Trust. This is not mandatory, but is encouraged. Four quarters is the minimum suggested donation. Donations will get you a spot on the ZeppinHood donations page, where we have raised almost $2500.00 for charities in the name of Zep!

If interested, you should sign up in the ZeppinHood newsgroups in the Club Led room (go to our main web page to enter the newsgroups). If you are an FBO member, or cannot access the newsgroups, send an email of interest (and your shipping address) to ZeppinHood.

Jimmy and Robert - Unpacking, assembley, and repacking instructions

Jimmy and Robert come "ready to use" out of the box and are approprate for holding upright and most sitting situations. Using the folding instructions for shipping, Jimmy and Robert can be easily carried under your arm almost anywhere and unfolded in less than a second, just by holding a head (no, not that one) releasing the folds, and "!!!POOF!!!" you have a Jimmy and or Robert and standing next to you!

If you need Jimmy and Robert to stand up on their own, a small amount of assembly will be required. Note: The assembly instructions are identical for both Jimmy and Robert.

1) Robert - As properly folded for shipping.

2) Robert - unfolding mid section.

3) Robert - completly unfolded.

4) Robert - completly unfolded (rear view).
If you wish to assemble Jimmy and Robert to get him to stand on his own,
you will need to flip them over, and attach the enclosed support sticks.

5) Robert - Support stick assembly.
Robert has 3 removable support sticks that bolt on to support sticks that
have been hot glued to his back. The position of each stick is clearly marked.
Jimmy has 5 support sticks.

6) Robert - Support stick assembly.
Simply remove the bolts that are attached to the support sticks that are
already glued down, place the numbered support stick in place, then hand
tighten the bolds.

7) Robert - completed assembly (rear view).

8) Robert - completed assembly (front view).

9) Robert - refolding mid section for shipping.
Bring Jimmy and Robert's knees to their chests (ink side facing ink side)

10) Robert - fold head down for shipping.
PLEASE! Make sure the ink side of all three folds face each other,
else damage from the screws can result!!!!

Finally, dont forget to sign and date Jimmy and Robert on the back, along with your location!
Its a good idea to wait to seal the box until you get to the post office,
then try and get the postal people to add an official postmark to their back sides!

PLEASE USE THE ENCLOSED ADDRESSING LABELS TO FORWARD TO THE NEXT USER!
